We’re a full-service production house based in NYC and working globally.
After more than a decade as one of NYC’s most visionary creatives, Ilya Savenok launched Sava Productions. Named after the Slavic word for owl, Sava blends big-picture vision with a calm and collected ethos.
First picking up a camera in the early 2000s, Ilya has captured icons like Madonna, the Dalai Lama, Beyoncé, and Ruth Bader Ginsberg, bringing their stories to life with his signature vision. Ilya has photographed major international fashion, music, art festivals, and red carpet events across the globe.
Ilya currently lives in Brooklyn with his wife, Lera, and their beloved dog, Frankie. He enjoys snowboarding and biking around the city.

Sava has become my go-to event photographer. Ilya has a way of putting people at ease, gets a great shot quickly and always overdelivers with options. He’s professional, collaborative and manages hectic environments calmly and efficiently. In the planning stages of a high-profile event, Ilya is the first person on my list to confirm!
